Another alarming fact The fact is that Brazil has emerged as one of the main sources of attacks, ranking second among the top five sources of DDoS attacks, with a share of 10.3%.  

This ranking places it just behind the United States, which accounts for 26.5% of this type of attack. Globally, the number of DDoS attacks reached approximately 7.9 million, marking a significant increase of 31% compared to the second half of 2022. This increase represents a staggering average of 44,000 DDoS attacks per day.

6. Responsibility: Companies are responsible for the proper processing of data, including by third-party services that process this information on their behalf. 

The LGPD applies to all organizations, whether public or private, that carry out the processing of personal data in Brazil, regardless of the medium (physical or digital) in which the data is processed.
